Six Month Stats

We took Livy in for her six month check-up last Friday.
She is a strong, healthy little girl weighing in at a whopping 19 pounds 12 1/2 ounces!!! She is also 27 3/4 inches long.
Yes, she is the weight and length of a one year old baby. Doc says to keep feeding her a bottle as well as 2 jars of food (stages 1 and/or 2), rice cereal, mixed whole grain cereal, oatmeal or YoBaby yogurt a day.
We are happy she is doing so well.
Livy spends a lot of time during the day (and night) babbling away. She loves touching tags of all sorts (especially tags attached to stuffed animals). She also enjoys crumbling paper with her hands and eventually it makes its way to her mouth. When you put her on the floor she sits up for quite some time and plays with her toys. We put the Boppy behind her so that when she falls back, she has support.
We (OK, mostly me) enjoy dressing her up in all the spring dresses, rompers, shorts, skirts, pj's, pants, shirts and of course onesies. She is wearing the "12 month" size in all clothing at this point. I guess that's not hard to believe given her stats:) They are a tad on the big side but she is too long for most of the 6-9 month clothing anymore.
Last weekend we took a trip down to Lake Placid. We visited with Mom, Dad, Joy, Uncle Mike (and his cat Oliver) and a few other friends that were in town as well.
On Saturday morning we took Olivia to her first Easter egg hunt. She was obviously too young to pick her own eggs so Joy picked up a little pink egg for her. Livy enjoyed chewing on it for a while once she woke up.
Johnny and I are loving every minute we spend with Olivia. She is our sunshine!
