Height: 32.25" (95th percentile)
Weight: 27lbs. 1/4 oz. (90th percentile)She is a strong, healthy, happy little girl who is blossoming with personality!
Here are a few things that Livy has been up to lately:
*When you say "oh my!", she puts her hands up to her cheeks and smiles.
*She refers to most food by saying, "apple" and she loves to eat apples - chunks
of apple,applesauce, apple yogurt etc...
*She enjoys splashing around in the salt water at the beach
(Founder's Park in the Keys) even though it was pretty cold
(even for the Keys).
*She turns water faucets on/off.
*She loves to drink from a straw.
*Says, "uh-oh!" when she trips, falls down or just bumps in to
something in her path.
*Each morning she wakes up saying, "Ma-Ma" and "Ah-Ah" (meaning Da-Da)
while clapping her hands and laughing.
*Her favorite book is Goodnight Moon. She can point out
the big red balloon, kittens, mittens, bears, telephone, moon and
even the little mouse. She LOVES to readthis book
right before bedtime.
*Her favorite song is Old MacDonald Had a Farm. She sings "e - i - e - i"
all the time and now she even adds the "o".
*She does a great job mimicking others. Last night while
eating dinner, she saw that Johnny was blowing on her food to cool it
off, so, she started doing the same. Sheput a bite of food in her
mouth and then blew it out of her mouth over and over again!
*Livy babbles constantly throughout the day. She has a lot to say
to everyone around. She looks at you right in the eye, bounces up
and down on her toes and nods her headup and down as she "talks"
up a storm.
*She found her belly button and enjoys showing it off to
everyone by pulling up her shirt and pointing to it and laughing.
*For some reason, she has to play with Daddy's belt whenever she
gets the chance. For that matter, she also loves string, ribbon,
cords, yarn and rope. Yikes!
*Livy "gives loves" by leaning forward so that her forehead
gently taps up againstGramps'forehead (he taught her this move
over Christmas and now she does it to him over Skype).
*While reading books on the couch, she gets a cozy feeling when
she burries herself in pillows and blankets until just her little face
is sticking out the top.
*Gama and Gampa gave us an annual zoo pass. So before the cold
snap we had been going a couple of times a week. Livy's favorite
animal is the giraffe. She even got to feed Rafikki a
cracker on our last visit.
*Most of the time, she'll choose books over toys. So, next week she'll
start taking a class at the Suntree library - books, music
and crafts - "Oh My" it should be fun!
*Her favorite time of day is when Daddy comes home
from work! She runs to him, jumps up in his arms and puts her
head down on his shoulders. It's my favorite part of the day as well.
Each day we are excited to see new miracles unfold as she grows up right before our eyes!

Hello there!
It's getting hot 'round here: 26 degrees this morning.
Have you used the pool lately? Or just skating on it?
Hope Livy is helping Johnny in the attic with his projects...
Take care!
You may as well put your shorts on!
The pool looks tempting but it's still too cold - maybe next month or so.
Now that you mention it, Johnny has been in the attic most of the day. I think he's found a new (quiet) home:)
Been to Aurelio's lately? Eat some antipasta (and a super six) for me.
