The Long Wait...
Well, here we sit waiting for TS Fay to strike. The Hurricane Center projected Fay to hit the Keys, but the island folk missed the bullet. Instead, it seems that Central Florida/Space Coast will feel some of the effects of the storm. So, this leaves me with one question - will my mother-in-law use her time off from work (school is out until Wednesday) to send me a copy of the much-anticipated, long overdue, wave-running video that was promised over a month ago?? We'll see.

Not gonna happen. It will be delivered by K.C. express. It is such valuable property I could not take a chance of it getting lost in the U.S. Mail system.

So...I'm listening to the radio, and a native Chicagoan, who now lives in Florida, said that in the Midwest folks call a "hurricane" like Fay a run-of-the-mill thunderstorm...
Pretty soon the POD arrives, eh? You know what they say: "In POD We Trust"
BTW - did you get a tiny little welcome mat for Boots' tiny little kitty door???
