Little Turkey (and squash)

Lately, Livy has decided that fruits and breads taste much better than veggies or any kind of meat. So, today I tripped her down and took her out by the pool to "finger paint" and play with her food. She LOVED it! And the best part is that she ate squash and turkey. Mission accomplished. Looks like she will be having her meals outdoors for the time being:) So what did we do after she was finished playing with her food? Jumped in the nice, cool, refreshing pool!

Happy 11 Months, Livy!!!

Today, Livy is 11 months old!! It's hard to believe that in a
month she will be one year old.

She is now facing forward in her car seat and LOVES it!

Her naps are few and far between!
(and she loves cheerios)

Livy just got back from visiting the Castillo San Marcos (Spanish Fort).

She enjoyed exploring the deep, dark dungeons with Daddy on a hot summer day!

Big 10 Months!!!!

Livy has been keeping us busy (and amazed)!!

When Johnny says, "shake" Livy shakes her head back and forth. And if you say, "blow" she'll blow bubbles with her mouth and make the motor boat sound. Also, she LOVES to wave. She waves to cars, people, animals and ceiling fans alike. She has been fascinated with her shadow lately too. She can clap on demand as well.
She loves to kick her legs in order to spin around in circles on the tile floor. She is a busy girl all day crawling and talking the whole way. She is so much fun!

We're so excited to go on vacation this weekend - off to explore the Old City!!

All in a Day's Work

Livy started her day off with a good read...



followed by a smooth rock in her chair.



Then she checked out her bathing suit before jumping into the pool.



Upon deciding she was thirsty, she stopped to take a drink (from a BIG cup).



Aaahhh!! Refreshed, she hurried off to the grocery store.




What a day! Livy still has time to brush her teeth before turning in for the night!

Beach Baby

On Saturday we took Livy across the bridge to the beach!

She had fun splashing in the water with Daddy...

Riding in her boat...

and letting her feet sink in to the wet sand!

"Hmmm... sand and salt tastes good!"

Around Town

This past week was filled with new adventures around town!
Aside from swimming, checking out books from the library, a few playdates and putting a piece of furniture together we visited Cocoa Park on Cocoa Beach, saw the giraffes at the zoo (along with some other animals around our house), experimented with new foods and Livy has enjoyed feeding herself (yes, all by herself).
