My first Mother's Day was amazing! I woke up to a delicious breakfast of french toast, oj and fruit. Yum! I received beautiful, sweet smelling flowers and a thoughtful handwritten note from Johnny and Livy. At church, I was awarded a pretty pink rose for having the youngest baby. Sweet! We also planted flowers, set up solar lights in the yard and went swimming. To top it all off, Johnny showed me a video he made comprised of pictures from the last 7 months - the best 7 months of my life! Maybe he'll help me post it later:)
Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there!
There is no better job in the world.

Water Baby
Livy has grown flippers! She took a trip over the bridge to the beach last weekend where she played under the umbrella because the water was still quite cold.
But, she LOVES the pool! She splashes water in her face and kicks her little legs. We'll have to teach her to swim soon. She is a little mermaid.
Enjoy the pics!

We've Moved! Again.
A lot has happened since our last post!
We have officially made our 4th move in one year. With a few more projects to complete we are slowly but surely getting settled in our new home. We have been so fortunate to have great help during our move. Thanks Gramps, NeNe and Uncle K.C.! You're the best!
In Livy news, she is presently cutting her FIRST tooth!! Through all of this, she continues to be happy and is still sleeping through the night (knock on wood). If she hadn't put Mom's finger on her tooth the other day, we wouldn't even have known it was there.
"Da-Da", "Ga-Ga", Ba-Ba" are just a few of Livy's most recent sounds. She also loves to "sing" which is a mix of all of the sounds above plus a few other random blends. When does she love to sing? Mostly when we are in a quiet place (stores, restaurants, church). She makes an entrance, usually followed but a quick exit:)
Enjoy these pictures of our latest adventures!
P.S. I will try to get some pictures of THE tooth ASAP.

Six Month Stats
We took Livy in for her six month check-up last Friday.
She is a strong, healthy little girl weighing in at a whopping 19 pounds 12 1/2 ounces!!! She is also 27 3/4 inches long.
Yes, she is the weight and length of a one year old baby. Doc says to keep feeding her a bottle as well as 2 jars of food (stages 1 and/or 2), rice cereal, mixed whole grain cereal, oatmeal or YoBaby yogurt a day.
We are happy she is doing so well.
Livy spends a lot of time during the day (and night) babbling away. She loves touching tags of all sorts (especially tags attached to stuffed animals). She also enjoys crumbling paper with her hands and eventually it makes its way to her mouth. When you put her on the floor she sits up for quite some time and plays with her toys. We put the Boppy behind her so that when she falls back, she has support.
We (OK, mostly me) enjoy dressing her up in all the spring dresses, rompers, shorts, skirts, pj's, pants, shirts and of course onesies. She is wearing the "12 month" size in all clothing at this point. I guess that's not hard to believe given her stats:) They are a tad on the big side but she is too long for most of the 6-9 month clothing anymore.
Last weekend we took a trip down to Lake Placid. We visited with Mom, Dad, Joy, Uncle Mike (and his cat Oliver) and a few other friends that were in town as well.
On Saturday morning we took Olivia to her first Easter egg hunt. She was obviously too young to pick her own eggs so Joy picked up a little pink egg for her. Livy enjoyed chewing on it for a while once she woke up.
Johnny and I are loving every minute we spend with Olivia. She is our sunshine!

Livy Talk
Lately, Livy has had a lot to say! She has been squealing, making bubbling sounds, screaming out loud with excitement and blowing lots of "raspberries".
When "talking", she repeats one syllable — such as "ah" over and over.
Enjoy this video!
